2026 Beginning and Preservice Teachers’ Workshop

Registrations now open!

Registrations are now open for the 2026 Beginning and Preservice Teachers’ Workshop. The theme is Building skills for language teaching success.

At the workshop there will be a number of presentations including:

• Support for language teachers and adapting support to your context

• The power of feedback

• Classroom management for learning success

• Playful strategies for powerful learning.

The workshop is suitable for all preservice languages teachers and all DoE language teachers 7-12 in their first 5 years of teaching.

Date: Friday 18 September 2026

Time: 8:45 am - 3 pm

Venue: 105 Phillip Street, Parramatta

Cost: $50 (to cover catering) - schools will be invoiced after the event

Registrations close: Friday 4 September (or when places have been filled)

This PL addresses teaching standards 2.1.2, 4.2.2, 5.2.2 and 6.2.2.
