Term 3 statewide staff meeting - Life Skills in modern languages

Registrations are now open for the Term 3 statewide staff meeting on Life Skills outcomes and content in the Modern Languages K–10 Syllabus. This session will build your understanding of the Modern Languages K–10 Life Skills outcomes and content, with practical guidance on programming, teaching, assessment and reporting to support students accessing Life Skills outcomes.

All languages teachers are encouraged to attend, regardless of whether they are currently teaching students accessing Life Skills outcomes, to explore inclusive syllabus implementation and classroom adjustments in practice.

This session will include:

• an overview of Life Skills eligibility requirements, syllabus outcomes and content

• programming and teaching ideas for classroom application

• practical case studies

• assessment and reporting advice for students accessing Life Skills outcomes.
