Teachers of Spanish are invited to apply for scholarships being offered by the Consejería de Educación and Tía Tula Colegio de Español. These scholarships are for various courses focusing on methodology, language, games and literature in the Spanish classroom.

Hornsby Girls High School is seeking a language teacher for Term 4 2020. The position requires teaching Spanish Beginners, French Stages 4 and 5 as well as shared junior classes of German and Japanese (no preparation required for the shared classes). Please note that the closing date is SUNDAY 6 JULY 2014. If you are applying for the program you must seek your principal’s statement of support as soon as possible. As the application closing date falls in the school holiday period, it is imperative that you obtain this statement before holidays begin. The statement of support is a key consideration in assessing applications, those not accompanied by a statement will not be passed on to selection panels and no extension of the closing date will be given. A free face-to-face session on the benefits of the Endeavour fellowship and on how best to complete the application forms will be held from 4.00 – 5.00 pm on Thursday 26 June 2014 at the Department of Education and Communities offices at Oxford Street.
