The Languages and Culture team runs state-wide Adobe Connect sessions for 30 minutes on Wednesday, Week 4 each term.
Language teachers 7-12 are invited to participate in the Term 1 Adobe Connect webinar that will include information about K-10 syllabus implementation support, a short TeachMeet from Kirsty Marquis at Picnic Point HS and an update from state office, including personnel and current projects.
Participating in the Adobe Connect webinar can contribute to 30 minutes of teacher-identified professional learning addressing Standard 6.2.2 of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
Note, the webinar runs as a one-direction session, you will not be required to speak or need a microphone.
When: Wednesday 21 February 2018, 3.30-4.00pm
Where: Online, via Adobe Connect https://connect.schools.nsw.edu.au/secondarylanguages/
Participants are required to log in using their DoE username. There is no need to register prior to the event. The sessions will be recorded for participants who are not available at the time of the webinar.
For participants new to using Adobe Connect, a detailed how-to-guide is attached and it is recommended that you complete the connection tests prior to the event.
