More K-10 language syllabuses released by NESA

NESA is developing new syllabuses for the following community languages, including Life Skills outcomes and content:

• ​- Hindi K-10
  
• - Macedonian K-10
  
• - Persian K-10
  
• - Punjabi K-10
  
• - Tamil K-10.
  

Registration is now available for consultation meetings listed below.

Wednesday 17 October – Bankstown Sports Club
Tuesday 23 October – Fox Hills Golf Club, Seven Hills
Thursday 1 November – Parramatta RSL
Wednesday 7 November – St George Leagues Club, Kogarah.

Meetings will be held from 4.00 to 6.00 m with tea and coffee from 3.30pm.

Please note that the draft syllabuses will be released on 24 September 2018.

Contributes to 2 Hours of PD

Completing a draft syllabus consultation meeting will contribute to 2 hours of NESA Registered PD (addressing 6.2.2 and 7.4.2) from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
