| On behalf of the Languages and Culture team, I'd like to wish everyone a lovely Christmas and a relaxing break - we've earned it! As many of you already know, we have farewelled some amazing and long-serving team members in recent weeks - Evelyn Man, Marie Ange Lewis, Enri Parolin and Lyndall Franks. We are also saying goodbye to the wonderful Trish MacDonald, who is off to Bowral HS. These team members have finished their contracts, as Senior Education Officer positions (SEO1 and SEO2) now require recent-school based experience. In Term 1 2017, Elizabeth Wang will continue acting in the role of Confucius Institute Officer, and Michelle Walls will be joining us from Gosford HS for Semester 1 2017. Janelle Byrne and I will continue in our roles. If you're interested in joining the team, there is currently a Language Officer position advertised on the I work for NSW website. Enjoy the break!
