Applications are now open for the 2015 ELTF program. See the media release below for more information. Please note that the closing date is SUNDAY 6 JULY 2014. If you are applying for the program you must seek your principal’s statement of support as soon as possible. As the application closing date falls in the school holiday period, it is imperative that you obtain this statement before holidays begin. The statement of support is a key consideration in assessing applications, those not accompanied by a statement will not be passed on to selection panels and no extension of the closing date will be given. A free face-to-face session on the benefits of the Endeavour fellowship and on how best to complete the application forms will be held from 4.00 – 5.00 pm on Thursday 26 June 2014 at the Department of Education and Communities offices at Oxford Street. All teachers are welcome. Please RSVP to Lyndall Franks at lyndall.franks@det.nsw.edu.au if you would like to attend this session. ![]()
Please note that there will be a delay in the opening of applications for the 2015 ELTF program. Following the 2014-15 Budget, changes are being considered for the January 2015 program, as some of the ELTF funds have been redirected to ACARA to develop new languages curricula for Foundation to Year 10. For further information please click see the Q&A sheet below or click here. As a result the application opening date will be delayed for a number of weeks. Please check the ELTF website where further information will be provided once details are confirmed. Dates for the information sessions planned for Oxford Street and via Adobe Connect will be announced once the new application timelines have been confirmed. Please contact Lyndall Franks lyndall.franks@det.nsw.edu.au if you have any questions. ![]()
