NSW is now consulting on the national Collaborative Curriculum and Assessment Framework for Languages (CCAFL). The CCAFL is a national curriculum and assessment framework for small candidature language courses at senior secondary level. It outlines essential information that will be common to all CCAFL languages developed using the framework.

NSW is due to consult on CCAFL framework for consultation. Language teachers are invited to participate in the consultation and/or provide feedback via an online survey.
There are 2 online consultation meetings you can attend: 10 March 2021 4-5:30 pm 25 March 2021 4-5:30 pm Registration and access to the survey for the CCAFL framework for consultation is open from 1 March to 11 April. For more information, please visit the NESA consultations page. NESA, along with other states and territories in Australia, is conducting a survey in relation to the current CCAFL Framework. The survey is to provide NESA with data that can be used to develop a new CCAFL Framework and future CCAFL syllabuses.
If you are interested, you may attend a consultation meeting on Wednesday 3 July from 4pm to 6pm at the NESA offices. You can access the consultation survey here – unlike other consultation surveys, the link will not be available on the NESA website. It is anticipated that this survey will take approximately 30 minutes. Places for this consultation are limited. If you are interested in attending this session, please respond to Josephine Ardino by Monday 1 July to confirm a place at the consultation meeting. |
