Details of placements: Chinese 20 days – 13 day block from 29 November to 15 December, plus 7 days prior to block. Remuneration – $680 Spanish 20 days – 13 day block from 29 November to 15 December, plus 7 days prior to block. Remuneration – $680 French 15 days – 15 day block from 8-26 November. Remuneration – $510 Preservice teachers can complete their placements in Stages 4, 5 or 6. This course is only available to teachers working for the NSW Department of Education. In this session you will: - enhance your understanding of texts and their use in our context - build your understanding of the varying features of texts and the importance of assisting students when creating texts, through scaffolding and modelling, to support student learning and achievement.
