The Board of Studies NSW has set new Course Prescriptions 2014-2018 for the Stage 6 Extension courses in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Modern Greek and Spanish. Download the new Course Prescriptions from http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/syllabus_hsc/languages.html
(click on the appropiate Extension course, and there will be a link to the Course Precriptions 2014-2018 at the bottom of the
page).
In response to the new Course Prescriptions, the NSW Department of Education and Communities has developed
support materials for each language. These can be accessed from http://www.curriculumsupport.education.nsw.gov.au/secondary/languages/languages/index.htm
Click on "Find support for your languages" and then the Extension course. The link to the support materials is in the heading of the first paragraph.
