Aurora College is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from suitable candidates to teach Stage 6 Japanese Beginners and/or Korean Beginners courses. The positions are available from 29 January 2018 until 20 December 2019, with the possibility of extension (with the agreement of the home school principal).

Aurora College is the state's virtual secondary school and supports students in rural and remote NSW to access courses not available in their local secondary school. Aurora College offers a mix of online and residential school classes. Aurora teachers also remain in their 'home school'.

Each successful applicant will be required to teach face-to-face classes in a five-day residential school program, held twice each year, as well as teaching timetabled lessons through the virtual learning environment.

Only permanent NSW teachers working with NSW Department of Education (including teachers working in Educational Services teams and state office directorates) are eligible to apply. Temporary and casual teachers, and contractors working for the Department are not eligible to apply.

Below you will find information about the college, information for applicants and the EOI application form.
