Open High School has developed an online and offline blended model course called for the Stage 6 Korean Beginners Course to increase the support for the teaching of Asian languages. The course is based on the Korean Beginners Stage 6 syllabus developed by the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards (BOSTES). This project is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations through the National Asian Languages and Studies in Schools Programs (NALSSP). These FREE Korean course materials will be available from 2016 to all NSW government and non-government schools with a Korean program. There is a one-off administrative fee of $300 payable to Open High School. The course materials will be delivered progressively in 2016 and 2017. The first stage of delivery is expected to be Term 1, 2016. If your school is interested in acquiring the course materials, could your principal please complete the enclosed resource request form.
