Does your school teach Korean language? DE International is seeking expressions of interest from primary and secondary schools that teach Korean language and are interested in online language and cultural exchange with a school in Seoul.
Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education's Online School Exchange Project will run as a pilot program from September - December 2020. Participating schools will be matched with a school in Seoul for online exchange through video conference classes. We have just published support for Stage 4 Korean – a unit starter (unit of work) and assessment task with marking criteria on "Our top 10 favourite things to do", with an updated Stage 4 scope and sequence.
We have just published practice speaking questions for Korean Beginners. Sorted by topic, this is a great document to give your students, so they can prepare for the upcoming oral examination.

ACARA has published new work samples for Korean F-10 for the Australian Curriculum. The work sample portfolios demonstrate student learning in relation to the achievement standard. They comprise a collection of students' work drawn from a range of assessment tasks.

Saturday School of Community Languages (SSCL) seeking Korean teacher at Smiths Hill High School Centre
SSCL is seeking a junior Korean teacher on Saturday mornings to teach Years 7-10 at their Smiths Hill High School Centre in Wollongong. The position is to commence immediately. If you're interested in the position, please contact Sana Zreika.
St Marys Senior High School is seeking expressions of interest from teachers who are interested in a part-time, temporary position, teaching Stage 6 Korean Beginners and Japanese Beginners. The position is available from the beginning of Term 2 2019 until the end of Term 1 2020 and the successful applicant will be allocated a 0.8 FTE load, teaching Monday to Thursday. There is also the possibility for casual work on Fridays if the applicant is interested.
The successful applicant should have accreditation to teach Korean and Japanese. Recent teaching experience with Stage 6 students is preferable, although all expressions of interest will be considered.
