"Korean food is some of the healthiest on earth, with an emphasis on vegetables, meats cooked simply and without much oil, and a near obsession with the fermented vegetable kimchi, which can be something of an acquired taste for non-Koreans."
Follow this link (http://www.sbs.com.au/food/cuisine/korean) for more food, pictures and stories.

ScribJab is a multilingual tool to create and share digital stories in 2 different languages. KOREAN is available. I've just downloaded the app and played with it. So much fun! It would be even more fun if I get my students to create a bilingual storybook (including voice recording). Follow the link below for more details.

"In sixty short years, South Korea went from being one of the poorest countries in Asia to having the world's 13th largest economy. Korean students have some of the highest test scores in the world, and a higher rate of acceptance into American Ivy Leagues than any other foreign country......"

Approx 20 min length video clip which is probably useful for senior Korean language classes as a visual stimulus.
