2015 Korean Immersion Day (KID) for high school students

Secondary Education, Learning and Leadership Directorate, NSW DEC is organising a Korean Day for Years 7-10 students in Sydney metropolitan region. The Korean Immersion Day program is developed and delivered in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Centre and School of Humanities and Languages, University of New South Wales.
·       Day: Wednesday 10th June 2015
·       Time: 10am to 2.00pm
·       Venue: University of New South Wales
·       Cost: Free (Morning tea and Korean lunch included)

The day consisted of a series of activities conducted in Korean and in English. Students participated in supervised groups. The aim of the day was to promote and extend the study of Korean through:
·       Stimulating ‘Language and culture’ activities
·       Talks that will inspire
·       Interaction with students from other schools in a tertiary environment

2014 Korean Immersion Day (KID) for Years 7 to 10 high school students

The Korean Immersion Day program is developed and delivered in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Office, Consulate General of the Republic of Korea, and School of Humanities and Languages, University of New South Wales.
   
     *Day: Thursday 11th September 2014
     *Time: 9.30am to 2.30pm
     *Venue: University of New South Wales (Central Lecture Block 6 and Courtyard)

The day will consist of a series of activities conducted in Korean and in English. Students will participate in supervised groups. The aim of the day is to promote and extend the study of Korean through:
   
    *Stimulating ‘Language and culture’ activities: K-pop, Craft, Cooking, Games and more!
    *Talks that will inspire
    *Interaction with students from other schools in a tertiary environment
