My name is Caleb Alger and I am an English teacher at Saitama Heisei
Jr/Sr high school. Why am I contacting you? These days students are
reluctant to greet teachers, other students, or anyone for that matter.
I talked to my students and we came up with an experiment. The name of
the experiment is "The Saitama Heisei (SAY HEY!)" experiment. In order
to get more students to understand the importance of greeting people, we
made a video. We are sending this message to schools around the world
to ask for there participation in the experiment / campaign to get
students to say hello. Participation can vary on choice, it can be just
writing your schools name, the location of the school, and a simple
comment regarding the video and or the experiment, or it can include a
video to contribute to the experiment or whatever the school might come
up with. Please be creative. Eventually when we decide to end the
experiment we want to put everything together to show the students.
Please, to participate go to the website I have created,
