I hope teachers have heard some of the interesting reporting on the 70th anniversary of the Cowra breakout. A very good message for intercultural understanding, especially with the anniversaries of the Hiroshima bombing yesterday, and Nagasaki tomorrow.

This wonderful collaboration between Australian and Japanese theatre celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Cowra breakout in which two hundred and thirty four Japanese prisoners and four Australian soldiers died, and is proudly supported by the Japanese Government's Agency for Cultural Affairs.
