The Languages and Culture team, together with the many Japanese teachers who have visited the Nihongo Tanken Centre in recent years, are very sad to be farewelling Mieko Shida, the Centre's Coordinator.
After four years in the role, Mieko’s contract as Senior Education Officer (SEO1) finishes at the end of Term 3 and she starts in a school-based teaching position from Term 4.
On behalf of the many teachers and students who have visited the Centre during this time, the Languages and Culture Team in the Learning and Teaching Directorate would like to thank Mieko for her dedicated and professional support of the Centre.
