Thank you to everyone who has registered so far.
We're aiming to raise more than $5,000 for the Save Minamisoma Project, which for the past three years has
been delivering fresh food and clean drinking water to people who have been displaced by the earthquake and tsunami, and the radiation from the Fukushima nuclear power plant.
There are still about 7000 people – including more than 300 children – living in temporary housing in Minamisoma. The vast majority of these people used to live within 20km of the power plant and therefore are
unable to go home for the foreseeable future. Your support will mean a great deal to them, and to the Save Minamisoma volunteers, as funds are getting more and more difficult to raise three years on.
