My name is Ayami Ito and I work at The Japan Association for the Promotion of English for Children(JAPEC) Osaka office as an international programme officer.

We are happy to inform you that we will start receiving applications of 2015. We are sending you the information of JAPEC Cultural Exchange Programme 2015 guideline as an attached.

The person in charge of the international programme has changed from Satomi Terai to Ayami Ito.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me before the summer holidays.
My email address is

ito@japec.jp

Thank you very much for your consideration.

We are looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Ayami Ito

International Programme Officer
The Japan Association for the Promotion of English for Children (JAPEC)

----JAPEC Cultural Exchange Programme 2015----

There are two points of change from the last year as below.

1. The program fee is changed from JPN55,000 yen to JPN15,000 yen (about AUS$610 to160) per person. (Teachers do not need to pay this program fee.)

2. JAPEC used to provide $1,000 as a subsidy for a teacher who act as a supervisor of a big group on a trip but we no longer provide any money.

JAPEC was founded in 1978 with the goal of helping children learn English and also educating English teachers in Japan. One of JAPEC’s most important and successful programs has been a Summer Camp which we have organized for eight years. Until 2007, the camp was an opportunity for Japanese students to practice English with the staff of overseas and English teachers of Japanese.
