The Consulate-General of Japan in Sydney is holding an Australia-Japan relations essay contest. The contest aims to encourage and develop a better understanding of Australia-Japan relations, among secondary school students in New South Wales. This English language contest is open to all high school students, not only for those studying Japanese. The Japan Foundation would like to extend the deadline for the 2019 September Intensive Seminar to 3 July. Please note that the previous advertisement had the deadline of 19 June 2019.
Completing this seminar will contribute 19 hours of registered professional development. Date: Monday 30 September – Thursday 3 October 2019 Venue: The Japan Foundation, Sydney Fees: Nil. Applications are closing soon for the 2019 September Intensive Seminar, a 3.5 day seminar held at The Japan Foundation, Sydney. The seminar enables teachers to develop language skills, gain confidence using Japanese, and to develop language teaching strategies which can be applied in the classroom. The focus of the seminar includes Australian Curriculum and ICT-based learning, and the opportunity to network. Completing this seminar will contribute 19 hours of registered professional development.
