Please send through the booking form as soon as the excursion date is confirmed. Cancellations Please note that the Tanken Centre requires a minimum of 4 weeks notice for cancellations. Cancellations made within 4 weeks of the date will attract a cancellation charge. If you need to cancel your booking, please notify the Tanken Centre as soon as possible so that the date can be offered to other schools. Minimum/maximum numbers Please note that the minimum number for all bookings is 20 students. The maximum number for high schools is 32 students, and 36 students for primary students. For groups that are smaller than 20, the Tanken Centre will try to find another school to combine with so that the excursion can go ahead. Casula High School is seeking a full-time Japanese teacher from Term 3 with the possibility of extension into Term 4 and beyond.
The teaching allocation is made up of mostly Year 8 Japanese and a Year 9 Japanese elective class. Please contact Susan Lee directly for more information. Belmont High School in Lake Macquarie is seeking a Japanese teacher for a maternity leave contract. The position will commence in the middle of Term 3 for 4 days per week for the remainder of this year. In 2019, the position will be for 5 days per week until the end of Term 2, with the option to stay on in a job-share role. The successful applicant will be teaching a full Japanese load for Years 8-10.
