The new Extension resource workshop on 11 May is now NESA Registered PD. Completing this workshop contributes to 4.5 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 6.2.2 and 7.4.2 of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
JAPAN FOUNDATION SYDNEY – Teaching Materials Grant This grant is for schools in Australia who wish to supplement their budget to purchase teaching materials for their Japanese language program. There are 2 kinds of programs in this grant. Please check the guidelines below to determine which program you should apply for: 1. establishing new program 2. expanding existing program. The application deadline has been extended to Monday 20 May 2019. Castle Hill High School is looking for a Japanese teacher to teach Stages 4 and 5 full-time until the end of 2019. There is also an opportunity for part-time work currently available.

The Japanese Government 2020 MEXT Scholarship – Research and Undergraduate applications are now open.
