Cheer for Fukushima

Cheer for Fukushima とは?
Cheer for Fukushima~

The international community is doing a charity event in May to raise money for an orphanage in Fukushima (where the big earthquake and tsunami was) whose building will undergo reconstruction later this year.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS download the mascot, Mirai-chan, print it out, take a selfie then upload it to all your social media profiles with the hashtag ‪#‎cheer4fukushima . By doing this we hope to raise awareness and encourage online donations in our home countries. LOOKING AT YOU AUSTRALIA!
They are short of the required funds so this event will hopefully raise lots of money towards the target (over 1 million yen)
Please visit the website cheer4fukushima.wix.com/c4f15 to find out more information.

Seeking host families for LABO Exchange Program

23/4/2015

Thank you so much to the schools provided host families for In -  Australia programme this year.

We allocated Japanese student to the host families that submitted the application.

We have the profiles of Japanese students from the head office in Japan.

We will post the matching profiles to the schools by the end of this week.

24 people are coming this year.  7 boys, 15  girls and 1 female chaperone and 1 male chaperone.

We have managed to allocate 6 boys and 9 girls.    1 boy, 7 girls and 2 chaperones do not have a home yet.

Please help us to find homes for those un allocated.

Labo head office requests one girl to be allocated for the same school as the female chaperone attends.

I look forward to your  reply.

Kind regards,

Topic of the environment: turn waste plastic into oil

-- Save your plastic

This is one of the most amazing emails and break through in technology ever seen!  Why isn't this being done NOW???

A very sensible way to save what we are destroying!

A case of Japanese ingenuity and perseverance.

What is more important would be the marketing and very low cost to have one of these in every home.

The sound is all in Japanese with English subtitles.

What a great discovery.
