Update on 2015 Endeavour Language Fellowships program

11/6/2014

After the delay due to budget cuts we are now pleased to announce that applications for the 2015 ELTF program will open tomorrow, with prospective applicants able to commence their applications online from tomorrow afternoon (11th June).

Briefly, the 2015 ELTF program will involve 10 in-country study programmes, to be held over a three week period in January 2015.

Awardee application dates

Applications open: Wednesday 11th June (afternoon)
Applications close: Sunday 6th July (11:59pm)

One of the most important messages for prospective applicants is that they must seek their principal’s statement of support as soon as possible.  As the application closing date falls in and around the school holiday period across most states and territories, it is imperative that they obtain this statement before holidays begin.  As a result of delayed application dates any extension will be unlikely.  The statement of support is a key
consideration in assessing applications, and those not accompanied by a statement will not be passed on to selection panels.

Promotion

Those who have registered their interest on the Austraining website will receive an email on Wednesday confirming application dates.  An online webinar for prospective applicants will be held from 4pm eastern on the afternoon of 16th June, with registration details available from the ‘how to apply’ page of the ELTF website.  Attached to this email is an updated brochure, with more detailed application information available from the ELTF website www.eltf.austraining.com.au.

Application queries can be directed to email eltf@austraining.com.au or the ELTF helpline (08) 7120 8407.
