Memorandum of Understanding signed between NSW Department of Education and Consulate General of Republic of Italy  11 May 2016

A Memorandum of Understanding on the co-operation in Italian language teaching was signed by the NSW Department  of Education and Consulate-General of the Republic of Italy on 11 May 2016.
The Memorandum recognises the achievements made so far and the importance of Italian language teaching and learning in NSW government schools. The main objectives are for mutual support and collaboration and co-operation in curriculum implementation, cultural activities and supporting professional learning activities for teachers of Italian.

    Languages and Cultures Network for Australian Universities director Professor John Hajek presents the latest Australian research into language teaching in Years K–12.
  • John Hajek is Professor of Italian and a linguist in The University of Melbourne School of Languages and Linguistics. He has held research fellowships in the UK and Australia and is currently director of both the Research Unit for Multilingualism and Cross-cultural Communication, and the Languages and Cultures Network for Australian Universities.

Past trial papers are available on order from ILTA.(Order form attached)
2016 trial paper will be available for distribution during Term 2 holidays. If you would like to order a trial paper for 2016 and become a member of ILTA, form is attached below for this as well.

Please be informed that if your school would like a trial paper for this year, forms should be returned NO LATER than the 1st June 2016. This ensures that the trial paper is sent out to all members on time, without last minute payments. Thank you in anticipation for your support in this matter.
