On 23 February 2016, the Indonesian Consul General, Mr Yayan G Mulyono and the Consul of Social, Culture and Education, Mr Novan Saleh, presented a trophy to the Open High School as a sign of their appreciation of and support to the Indonesian Department.
The following high achieving students at the Open High School were recognised:
- Qisty Kadarusman received a certificate and a $200 gift for placing 1st in Heritage Indonesian HSC 2015
- Chiara Christian received a certificate of appreciation and a gift for placing 5th in Beginners Indonesian HSC 2015.
