The NSW Chapter of the Australia-Indonesia Youth Association (AIYA) invites you to a very special information session about the work and holiday visa to Indonesia that is available to young Australians aged 21-30 at time of application.
The session will be held on Thursday, 19 September 2013 at 6:15pm at the Indonesian Consulate General located at 236 Maroubra Rd, Maroubra NSW 2045. For more details, visit: https://www.facebook.com/events/506183856140383/.
The Work and Holiday Visa is an avenue to provide more efficient and flexible arrangements for young Australians to spend a decent amount of time in Indonesia to work, travel and develop personal and professional networks. Improving access to this visa has been a priority on AIYA's policy agenda for the last 18 months, as it will help develop strong people-to-people links between Indonesia and Australia.
AIYA NSW in collaboration with the Consulate General of Indonesia will inform you about the visa, the processes of obtaining one and what it allows you to do. You will hear from the Consulate's Immigration Attaché, Mr Haryono Agus, as well as a representative from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, Ms Elsbeth von Brasch. This event will also feature a successful applicant of the Work and Holiday Visa in Indonesia who will be sharing their experiences. So please make sure you bring along any questions to ask during the Q and A session.
For catering purposes, please RSVP by 16 September 2013 to firstname.lastname@example.org.
