The Art Gallery of NSW will be hosting a very interesting exhibition until June
15, which is related to Hellenistic Heritage: “Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures”.
A part of the exhibition is exclusively dedicated to the city “Κhanum: The Greek Colony” and many of the exhibits are of Hellenistic era.
Consul General Dr Kyrimis would like to prompt all institutions related to Greek Education and Culture in Sydney to visit the exhibition, as this is an important part of the Greek global heritage and would contribute for the pupils to better understand the concept of Hellenism. Dr Kyrimis would be very happy to support an excursion to the respective exhibition by accompanying a school or any other relevant institution.
Please forward to your mailing list and inform your colleagues and students accordingly, as this is considered to be a very significant exhibition for the History and impact of Hellenism on the globe.
