The ALC program is a unique set of high quality, multiple – choice tests designed to assess Languages competence in Listening and Reading, in primary and secondary students.
ALC assessments are engaging for learners and highly accurate, providing reliable insight into students’ progress. The tests are delivered online during the coming month of August, 2016.
The ALC tests are created by Languages academics and teachers, at the Australian Council of Educational Research (ACER), one of the world’s leading educational research and assessment organisations.
The ALC is available again for Greek in 2016!
Students can complete Certificate 1 (Listening and Reading) as well as a Primary Certificate (Listening, Reading and Vocabulary).
On completion of the tests, ACER provides individual Student reports with descriptors of the band achieved and School reports.

The Primary test is suitable for students in Years 5 or 6 sitting this test for the first time.
Certificate 1 is suitable for students in Years 7 and 8.
