German School Film Festival - Palace Cinema, Sydney

This year, the German School Film Festival will take you on a time travel into the future. “Deutschland im Jahr 3017”: Imagine it is the Year 3017. What does the world – what does Germany – look like? Entries for ACT, NSW, NT and QLD close on 8 September 2017. Further information will be available soon on the GI website.

Felix and Franzi - New teaching materials
Some of you might already know the fun Felix and Franzi teaching materials for primary level. Another set of lesson plans with new topics has been developed by our colleagues in London and is now available for download.

Autobahnspiel
"Das Autobahnspiel” is an informative, interactive station game that provides many impressions and facts about the German-speaking countries, their culture and products. It's the perfect motivational game for students who are about to choose a foreign language, for beginners of German and even for parents. Please contact the GI if you would like to have "Autobahn" at your school.
