The Summer School will be run as a day program at the Goethe Institute in Woollarah (Sydney) this year, rather than in a residential format, so attendees will need to organise their own accommodation for the week. The Summer School is open to both government and non-government teachers.
The NSW Department of Education would like to support secondary German teachers from NSW public schools to attend this valuable professional learning event and is offering up to five partial scholarships to secondary teachers of German currently employed in NSW public schools.
The scholarships will cover 50% of the event registration fee plus up to $500 towards accommodation and travel expenses.
Note: Members of the NSW MLTA are also eligible to apply for funding for up to 50% of the event registration cost.
If you are a secondary teacher of German in a NSW public school, and are interested in receiving support to attend this professional learning event, please complete the attached EOI and return it with a one page supporting statement to Michelle Walls by 5pm on Friday 17 November 2017.
If you have any questions regarding the scholarship opportunity, please contact Michelle Walls on (02) 9244 5573 or via email.
