Kino for Kids 2020
‘Kino for Kids’ will be part of the German Film Festival in 2020. The diverse program focuses on science and astronomy. This year there are double features, showing 2 films on the same day for similar age groups. 'Kino for Kids' school screenings will be shown in Sydney.
National conference for teachers of German

Scholarships for online DLL courses
Deutsch Lehren Lernen (DLL) is an innovative professional learning program of the Goethe-Institut answering fundamental questions regarding the teaching of German as an additional language. The 10-week online courses offer a variety of subjects and are designed for teachers of German who are looking for professional learning using the latest training methodologies. Applications close 28 March 2020 for DLL 3 and DLL 5. Applications close 24 April 2020 for DLL 8.
Darecon
In this project, students from 11 countries will work together to address the problems of the future. With the help of digital media they will give their generation a voice. Teachers will take part in a seminar that provides new ideas for digital lesson design. Darecon is for students between 15 and 17 years old and teachers of German. Applications close 15 April 2020.
HSC Beginners, Continuers and Extension days
Would you and your students like to prepare for the oral HSC examinations together with other German learners? The Goethe-Institut offers a day with intensive communicative activities for high school students from different schools, who are preparing for the oral examinations under the guidance of experienced teachers.
EDDU – Erfolgreich digital deutsch unterrichten
EDDU is a project of the Goethe-Institut in South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand that supports teaching and learning of German with digital tools. Teaching materials are available for download.
Goethe Fit examinations at your school
The Goethe-Institut is offering German examinations for children and teenagers within the aged 10-16 for Fit in Deutsch 1 and students aged 12-16 for Goethe Zertifikat A2: Fit in Deutsch. Depending on student numbers, the examinations can take place at school or at the Goethe-Institut. For examinations booked at the Goethe-Institut a hands-on CLIL workshop can be conducted for students, free of charge.
