Year 12 students will have the opportunity to participate in two 10-minute mock interviews with two different and unfamiliar examiners in preparation for their HSC speaking examination. Students must be accompanied by their teacher. The day will be held at the King's School (Parramatta).
Teachers need to be willing to conduct 10-minute interviews between 9am and 12pm, while students are required to undertake two 10-minute interviews within a 40-minute time slot, thereby giving them a short break between the two interviews. Students will be exposed to different interview styles and techniques as they prepare for their HSC. Students will be asked to record the interviews on phones or computers and these can then be reviewed by their own teachers to maximize student learning.
