The Goethe-Institut Australien, Sydney is offering German language courses to students in Year 11 and Year 12 who wish to enrich their knowledge of German during their school holidays.

The courses are fun and a great opportunity for students to consolidate and extend the skills they have gained in the classroom. The courses are based on themes and topics specific to the NSW HSC curriculum but are also beneficial for International Baccalaureate (IB) students.

Courses will run between 16 - 20 January 2017. Please refer to the Goethe-Institut Australien website for further details.

Urgent request for a Professional Experience Placement teaching German in a NSW high school

2/11/2016

I am currently in my 4th year of a Combined Arts/Education (Secondary: Humanities & Social Sciences) degree at Sydney University, and have been informed by the Practicum Office that they are unable to find me a placement for German. The original dates for our placement were from Monday 31st October to Friday 2nd December 2016, but will be extended accordingly if the placement begins later.  If there are any schools or teachers who may be able to accommodate a 25 day practicum placement, I would be happy to contact and arrange everything with the Practicum Office.
