We are very excited to let you know that we have just published a Stage 5 unit of work on 'What is around me?', including an accompanying assessment of learning task, with marking guidelines. We have also updated the Stage 5 scope and sequence so that it links to these new resources.

Bistro Escargot is a 6 x 6 minute series for beginner level students of French (middle primary – lower secondary).
The dialogue is entirely in French, and the writing and dialogue caters for beginner level students. Topics include name, age, likes, music, weather, food, clothing, geography, numbers and more. You can access the series through ABC iView. For this incursion an entertaining and informative Paris cafe is set up in the school. There is a talk about France, its history, its culture, French explorers that came to Australia, French food and the specialities from each region. Students are provided with a croissant, tartine, pain au chocolat and bol de chocolat chaud.
