The annual NAFT conference for 2019 is at St Aloysius’ College 47 Upper Pitt St, Kirribilli NSW 2061 on Saturday 26 October.
The theme for 2019 is: Les Nouvelles tendances et directions.
The keynote speaker is Dr Gianfranco Conti, presenting on:
• curriculum design principles – embedding cognitive science in our long-term planning
• designing, implementing and sequencing tasks – principles and techniques.
Dr Conti will also run a 1-hour workshop on task creation suitable for the new syllabus, including topics such as teaching grammar through listening and creating a culture of reading and listening as modelling in the classroom.
The conference cost is $165 and registration is at www.naft.org.au
The event is NESA-accredited for 6 hours.
For country members, subsidies of up to $300 are available.
