The Project
A team of researchers in languages teacher education from Deakin University are seeking participants for a 25 minutes online survey exploring teaching and learning French in a global country such as Australia.
Your involvement in this national online survey and your expertise in languages education would be greatly valued. All teachers of French who teach to primary and secondary students in Australia are eligible to participate to our national survey.
We are looking for teachers of French as participants from a diversity of contexts (e.g. French as foreign/second language, French bilingual schools, community schools and distant education schools) as we aim to capture the wide range of contexts and programs in which French is taught and learnt in Australia.
Synthetising of data will be available through a report that summarises the key findings of the research that the research team will communicate to you. A detailed account of the research might be also available through prospective publications in academic journals.
What will participation involve?
- A 25 minutes online survey.
- The online survey is anonymous, i.e. respondents will not be identifiable by name, or school names.
- Participation is voluntary and participants may exit the survey at any time.
- If you would like to participate: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/teachingfrench
All phases of the research project will be monitored by Noëlla Charbonneau. She can be contacted at any stage of the research period should you have any outstanding queries or concerns.
