The masterclass, which will be held on Friday 17 July 2020 from 11am-12pm, aims to assist community language teachers to gain both practical and specific knowledge offered by Professor Stephen Krashen, a recognised authority in language learning and acquisition.

Professor Krashen is Professor Emeritus at the University of Southern California. He has published more than 350 papers and books about second language acquisition, bilingual education and reading. Professor Krashen promotes the use of free voluntary reading during second language acquisition, which he says "is the most powerful tool we have in language education, first and second."

You must register for the masterclass, which is organised by the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools Inc. and funded by the Community Languages School Program, NSW Department of Education.

For more information, contact the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools Inc. on 9558 6134.
