Teacher of Mandarin at Pagewood Public School

Pagewood Public School is looking for a Chinese teacher. Interested applicants are invited to submit an Expression of Interest for a casual position teaching Mandarin K-6 at Pagewood PS until the end of 2016. The Mandarin program is held all day Thursday and 9.15 am – 12.15 pm on Friday. Please outline relevant experience and abilities, not exceeding two pages.  Include the names of two referees who are able to discuss your professional abilities and suitability for the position.  At least one referee is to be a principal, who can support your application as you have worked on a casual or temporary basis at their school. Applicants may be required to attend an interview.

Casual K-6 Mandarin relieving position at Kensington Public School

Kensington public school is looking for a relieving Chinese teacher in Term 4, from week 1 to week 5 on  Wednesdays and Thursdays.
  • Please email an EOI (no more than one A4 page) to outline the following criteria:



- DEC approval to teach Mandarin for K-6.
  • - Able to teach Chinese background and non-Chinese background classes.
  • - Able to teach mixed ability Mandarin classes.
  • - Is familiar with using IWB and Chinese language teaching materials. Eg Chinese Made Easy (Primary version)and Chinese Treasure Chest.
  • - Works collegially with staff members to support student language learning
