Arabic Community Language Teacher - Ashcroft Public School

Ashcroft  Public School is looking for an Arabic Community Language teacher. The position  is temporary 2 days a week (Mondays & Tuesday) for the first 4 weeks of Term 3.

The school is looking for a teacher who has a sound understanding of K-6 curriculum and the quality teaching model. The teacher will be expected to engage students with rich, differentiated learning tasks and interactive 
technology.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - 2015 ELTF APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN

Applications are now open for the 2015 ELTF program. See the media release on the News page for more information.

Please note that the closing date is SUNDAY 6 JULY 2014. If you are applying for the program you must seek your principal’s statement of support as soon as possible.  As the application closing date falls in the school holiday period, it is imperative that you obtain this statement before holidays begin.  The statement of support is a key consideration in assessing applications, those not accompanied by a statement will not be passed on to selection panels and no extension of the closing date will be given.

A free face-to-face session on the benefits of the Endeavour fellowship and on how best to complete the application forms will be held from 4.00 – 5.00 pm on Thursday  26 June 2014 at the Department of Education and Communities offices at Oxford Street. All teachers are welcome.

2015 Endeavour Language Fellowships program

Applications for the 2015 ELTF program are open. The 2015 ELTF program will
involve 10 in-country study programmes, to be held over a three week period in
January 2015. 
Awardee application dates
Applications open:     Wednesday 11th June (afternoon)
Applications close:      Sunday 6th July (11:59pm)

Prospective applicants must seek their principal’s statement of support as soon as possible.  As the application closing date falls in and around the school holiday period across most states and territories, it is imperative that they obtain this statement before holidays begin.  As a result of delayed application dates any extension will be unlikely.  The statement of support is a key consideration in assessing applications, and those not accompanied by a statement will not be passed on to selection panels.

Arabic, Auslan, Assyrian, Bengali, Chinese, Dari, French, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Macedonian, Maori, Nepali, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, Samoan, Serbian, Spanish, Tamil, Telugu, Tongan, Turkish, Urdu and Vietnamese.
