Oxford University Press have launched a fun, colourful and engaging Arabic reading program for K-6 consisting of 48 fiction and non fiction texts and includes a Teacher Resource Guide. You can view a sample reader at look inside Arabic Reader and the Teacher Resource Guide at Look inside Teacher Resource Guide The texts have been developed by expert teachers of Arabic working with children at The Arabic Club for Kids, London which was founded by Dr Rabab Hamiduddin. Community Languages Program K-6
There are 30 languages taught through this program. Arabic, Auslan, Assyrian, Bengali, Chinese, Dari, French, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Macedonian, Maori, Nepali, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, Samoan, Serbian, Spanish, Tamil, Telugu, Tongan, Turkish, Urdu and Vietnamese.
