The Community Languages Induction Program K-6 is an orientation for teachers new to the Community Languages Program in primary schools. The eight-week school focused program provides teachers with opportunities to develop skills in planning, implementing and evaluating effective Community Language Programs in the primary school context. This involves four full day face-to-face workshops and an eight-week school based component involving a workshadowing experience.
Community Languages Program K-6
There are 30 languages taught through this program. Arabic, Auslan, Assyrian, Bengali, Chinese, Dari, French, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Macedonian, Maori, Nepali, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, Samoan, Serbian, Spanish, Tamil, Telugu, Tongan, Turkish, Urdu and Vietnamese.
