Attention all teachers involved in the NSW Bilingual Schools Program. The next MLTAV Bilingual Schools Network workshop will be held on Thursday 17 July at Huntingdale Primary School in Melbourne, Victoria. All teachers are strongly encouraged to register to attend. Details provided below Kylie Farmer. Russell Cross from Melbourne University will be the guest speaker, presenting on CLIL and its application in Bilingual Programs. Many experienced bilingual teachers have completed Russell’s CLIL Course and have found it extremely beneficial for enhancing their bilingual program. You will also have an opportunity to hear about and observe how Huntingdale is using CLIL to plan for and teach Literacy and Content in both Japanese and English across the school. The program will also include a “Teachmeet” style session in which teachers will have 7 minutes to share an effective strategy/activity they have used in their bilingual program.
